Welcome to Mirai Mobile

NEW BROADLEAF DECIDUOUS PRO CALENDAR OUT NOW:

We’re excited to announce a brand-new Broadleaf Deciduous Pro Calendar, now available exclusively for Pro members on Mirai Mobile! This is the first species-specific calendar we’ve rolled out, offering targeted, seasonal guidance for broadleaf deciduous trees.

As a Pro membership benefit, this calendar is designed to help you optimize care and timing for your broadleaf deciduous bonsai. With more species-focused calendars on the way, this new tool is just the beginning!

Here’s what the Broadleaf Deciduous Calendar offers:

  • Species-Specific Care Insights to support optimal health and design
  • Step-by-Step Seasonal Guidance on pruning, wiring, watering, and more
  • Timely Notifications & Reminders to keep you on track

You’ll notice a letter system on the calendar view. The following letters indicate which stage(s) of development each action applies to:

A - All stages
P - Primary
S - Secondary
T - Tertiary

For example, “PS” means the action is suitable for trees in either the Primary or Secondary stages. Any combination of these letters serves as a guide for which development stages the action encompasses. Certain tasks will have multiple videos. Tasks with multiple videos will have the video options under the description and heading titled “Other Stages” in stead of at the top of the calendar activity.

Access the Broadleaf Deciduous Calendar now on Mirai Mobile! Stay tuned—exciting new features are coming soon to make Mirai Mobile even more valuable on your bonsai journey.

Good morning Leah,

In regards to this new Broadleaf Deciduous calendar, I’m a Pro member, should these areas in settings be accessible? Or is this still forthcoming?

Thank you for your time and the team’s continued efforts into making this app better and better with each iteration.

Hi Tony,

Yes, based on the screenshot you provided the setting is activated and you should now have access to this new pro feature and be able to see it populating on your calendar view. For now the only one available is the Deciduous pro calendar. We will be rolling out all the additional species upon completion and refinement of the work and content associated with them.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

What do the letters inside each of the new deciduous pro calander events mean?

Ok, I understand now, thank you for the clarification. An unrelated suggestion if I may for the developers?

A search function for the Toolbox would be very helpful.

Hey,

For early fall branch prunning it has the T code for tertiary level. But when you click on it it mentions all stages in the context?

Hi, i’ve noticed some video clip content doesn’t play for the deciduous broadleaf calendar. This one for example. It could be my IOS Device?

Hi Vernon,

There are many calendar activities included that are text based information. If the thumbnail at the top does’t automatically play, it means there is not video component to that information and what you’ll need to know lives in the description below.

Let me know if you have any other questions on this!

Be on the lookout for future updates to My Custom Calendar allowing you to create your own custom reminder and eventually get notifications pushed to your device like any calendar notification you have now.

For Pro Users:

Bonsai Aesthetics 301 - Kusamono Creation is now available in Mirai Mobile Academy.

Can’t seem to get the last kusaomono video to play. I keep getting the spinning wheel of death

Well it’s working now.disregard previous posts

I am having the same problem. The last video in the kusamono class will not play. Has been multiple days of trying now.

It’s working for me now.

G’day gang,

I’m located Brisbane, Australia.

The calendar timings for my location still seem to be off.
This has been previously touched on in feedback podcasts etc, it’s been suggested that we shift our location settings up and down a zone to suit. I’ve shifted from zone 9 to 12 with no discernible difference or shift in the calendar.

If I bring the zone down to a 4/5 the multi flush decandling activity comes closer to when it should be performed, local knowledge is December and the live vein reduction timing seems more in line with when juniper xylem / phloem get juicy and loosely, but it’s not quite right.

You’ve taken on a monumental task, and I don’t have answers for you sorry, just feedback.

Peace.
