Looks and feels dry and the color is a dusky green, still pushing some new growth in places and no die back anywhere just looks tired and dry, but is being watered.
Does the foliage crumble when you rub between your fingers? How brittle is it ?
It definitely looks dusky as you said? Since you don’t have any die back or obvious pest signs. Are you sure your watering is good?
Could be a nutrient uptake issue? Have you been doing any foliar feeding?
Maybe treat for mites, could have the start of an attack. Then maybe try some foliar feeding to see if it’s simply a nutrient imbalance. Maybe try something along the lines of “root ruckus” at 1/4 recommend strength once a week and see if you don’t see a gradual improvement Over the next 4-6 weeks .
Do the tap test over a piece of white paper and then run your fingers over the paper and look for smears. Spider mites. It looks similar to mine that have been battling mites this spring.
You wanna make sure it is spider mites first before you treat it with some sort of miticide . Thats the “nuclear option” only to be used when all else has failed. When the land grows dark and all hope is lost …
