Welcome to Mirai Mobile

I’m unable to turn specific species on on the calendar. It also has the calendar blank for deciduous and other species. I am a pro member using IOS.

There is coming an update on jan 22…
the decidious calender is available for none of us at the moment… be patient

It would be a nice addition to be able to save those short daily blurbs in the toolbox. It looks like we can only save course lectures. I can find those easy enough later. Those little blurbs disappear at the end of the weel.
Thanks!

good point I thought they were savable but have not tried to

I am a pro member but the calendar options are limited to just general. Is that just because that’s all that’s available? Love the app can’t wait for some broadleaf and tropical additions. Is there a resource for like trees so we can just pick another if ours isn’t listed. No option for ficus, Brazilian rain tree, Fukien tea, or African star which all have videos in the library. With No with no Super Tuesday it seems like my bonsai withdrawals are setting in.

I emailed them for the same reason. Waiting for a response.

they just fixed this for me today so hopefully you are up and running now

Great to see the new amount of trees between we can choose.

But i still can´t add a larch. i´ve been adding any other species without any problem.

Has anybody got an idea how many trees is a “proper amount of trees” that a standart member could add? Is it still ten trees?

So I set my location as required and then began to add trees. According to the timeline I am prompted to begin “fall” (autumn) pruning in the first week of February for my JBP in refinement. That’s just plain wrong… much too early. The buds on the decandled pines (in refinement) are no where near developed enough at that time. I feel like this might be an issue due to the fact I’m in the Southern hemisphere. I was fine with understanding the techniques then applying them at the correct time with my own understanding of my climate. That was how I would navigate through before the app.
I don’t feel confident in the advice given at the time to perform it through the app… it’s off.

The timelines will always be an indication there is so much variation that can’t be captured in an app,: yearly climate, your growing, genetic, etc. You will always have to judge yourself if the advice is correct. I would say it is more a reminder than a task, it also will provide a window with a start and end.

Person above has already made the point that the calendars are more of a guideline which usually give you a timeframe for this work (decandling covers all of autumn), but I’ll also say that I don’t think the conversion to US growing zones has been done all that accurately for Australia and possibly other locations, so you’ll have to adjust for your local climate.

Just updated the app to version 1.0.8.21 on android. I was able to add a larch to my trees now but still not working for common horthorn and european hornbeam.

Finally, i found out, why i couldn´t add my larch… The app doesn´t accept “ä” in the field for the common name. The german word for larch is Lärche. Now it´s a Lala…
That made me crazy

Now i wish there could be more than 12 trees to add…as a standart member…

Thanks @gee13 for the hint. Now it works for me!

I’m a Pro member. I added all the deciduous trees yesterday. However, in the calendar they didn’t show any general care actions for the entire year. I’m using an IPhone Thanks in advance for any help
I have enjoyed the classes and the general tips on the home page. I love that we can save photos of the trees and notes pertaining to the work completed. The App is very user friendly. I’m excited to see it grow and can’t wait for all the features MiraiI and team has planned. Thanks

Thank you!!! I was having audio issues as well. I read your post and now I have audio!! :grinning::grinning::tada::champagne::pray::pray:

I wanted to take a moment to thank the video and photography team that worked on the Mirai App. I have completed 7 classes. While watching the 201 Rafia class I realized All the images have amazing lighting which produces fabulous details. The close ups come at ideal times and follow Ryan’s hands making it easy to follow along and see exactly where to place hands for the correct technique and application. Just thought it would be nice to hear a little positive feedback

I’m using android and have the same thing with no info on the calendar for some of the trees that Mira added to the list. Hopefully they will get it resolved. Growing pains I suppose.

I have taken all the courses on the Mirai Academy page. Watched each section and completed each exam. None of them are showing as completed. What else is required I have been unable to find any information addressing this
