Welcome to Mirai Mobile

I have lost access to my calender and my trees in the app. It was there two days ago.

The issue just started today with the Mirai app for me. The only feature that loads is the Academy landing page.

The issue started for me a few days ago. Trees and calendar empty, even videos on the home page not loading

Same for me any update? Thanks!

Hello, I have been enjoying the Mirai Mobile app a lot. I have a suggestion for a Bonsai Mirai Academy Course. I have found the ā€œBonsai Aftercare: Mirai Lecture Seriesā€ to be extremely helpful and in my humble opinion, i think it would be great to see this as a Course. It could be even broken down to multiple courses. This specific lecture contains so much useful information - i have watched it twice already!

Hi Mirai Team,
There’s no audio on the videos within the app. Ive checked all in-app settings & iOS 18.3.2 settings. My phone’s speakers work fine, and Mirai Live audio works fine.

Thanks in advance!

All good on Android platform.

Bump; please respond

It sounds like your phone is on silent mode. Unlike many other apps, Mirai Mobile requires the sound to be turned on manually in order for it to play. There should be a toggle button on the side of your device that when flipped off will allow sound to work through the app. See screenshot below:

If that doesn’t solve the problem, please let me know and I will continue to help troubleshoot the issue!

Hi, in the app calendar, what do all the letters mean?

A, PS, ST, T etc

Thanks
Amit

Hi Amit,

The calendar uses a letter system to indicate which development stage(s) each action applies to.

  • A - All stages
  • P - Primary
  • S - Secondary
  • T - Tertiary

I was watching the decending multiflush pine video in the app and there was an option to save to custom caladar. Is there a tutorial on how to use the custom calander function and also it would be nice if the library video thats used in the clips was listed somewhere so you could access it easily.

Just confirming phone was on silent, turning the phone off silent solved the issue. Thanks!

Cork bark Oak (Quercus Suber) are listed on the App as Broadleaf Deciduous. I thought this tree was a broad leaf evergreen. I’m not an expert so I just wanted someone to explain if I’m missing something. Thanks

I noticed Juniper live veign reduction is missing in the new calendar, it was there a few weeks ago and it was very helpful, my Juniper responded good to the action.

What happened to the following indicational letters which indicated to which stage actions relate?

A - All stages

P - Primary

S - Secondary

T - Tertiary

I have a question about the custom calendar. I’m putting events/reminders in for myself but that is on a specific date/period in 2025. I’d like to use these reminders yearly, but I dont see a ā€œrepeat yearlyā€ option…

What will happen to all my events, wil they be ā€œlostā€ next year?

Is it possible to add a ā€œrepeat yearlyā€ button, it would really add a great usable function to the custom calendar.

I’m having some trouble with notifications on the app. I’m not getting any notifications at all. I’ve checked the phone settings to be sure that app notifications are turned on. I’ve also checked the notifications on the app settings to be sure that those are turned on as well. My phone is a Samsung A36. Do you have any guidance for me on this. I’m missing out on this fabulous and informative app function. =(

Could you guys add Desert Rose as a species for ā€œmy treesā€? Not seeing it in there and can’t save. Apologies if this is not the correct forum. I’m new here.

There is a problem using this app as an Australian. The timing is pretty off. If I set my zones so the timing is right for Pinus thunbergii, others seem wrong.

I get it, Australia is an island with a much different climate to the USA as a land mass. We have a big dry desert that drys out and heats up winds from the west (assuming you are the majority of the population, living on the east coast). It’s pretty accepted that various indigenous peoples here considered there to be 6 seasons. I’m not sure it’s possible to do a 1:1 mapping, whereas I could see Europe being a more realistic task.

How does this get fixed? Not easily I assume. The simplest method I can come up with, assuming it’s impossible for Mirai to make a special Australian whinger edition, is allowing us to individually move the dates on an activity that’s been copied to the custom calendar and provide the ability to publish and share custom calendars.

Keep it up.

Hi @Leah, i’m checking in to see if my suggestion might make it to the app or is noticed at all.

Every custom event i make, i have to make again for next year. A button ā€œrepeat yearlyā€ would be very much appreciated and would give great functional addition to the app.

Hoping to hear from you.

As always, i love all of the mirai team efforts to get the information out there. Keep it going!
