A new dwarf cryptomeria. Should be something interesting to work on.
The bonsai below is a cascade.
Very nice set up, love the version of monkey poles you constructed…
Also why don’t you show a close up of your ginkgo and make another pick doesn’t seem like anyone else wants to share theirs!
Dang! This is from the first Miyajima white pine stream What is the medium that you grow it in? And how often do you water compared to other pines? Also could you please let me know your location? I’d love to have a parviflora but I’ve had 2 and I managed to kill them somehow. We get cold winters (milder lately) but still many say that central Europe isn’t great for them but this seems like BS and just bad cultivating techniques and watering…
Yeah this rusty set up is very sweet.
@NEBeech @ThomasUrban
thank you. Tension in the design also comes from the change in visual mass when walking by
As per request the Gingko
And below me is a tree from one of our members in the southern hemisphere, eventually preparing for flowering
How about a yellow hibiscus! This is my wife’s house plant that I now manage the balance of water and oxygen on .
It was next to me and figured I could use it to see someone’s best Non traditional species of bonsai below me…(other than succulents which I am a fan of)
Salix Bebbiana, a type of willow, collected here in Colorado. I acquired this tree over the summer and am looking forward to seeing it advance. The bonsai below me is a Douglas fir.
Mother-Daughter Doug Fir doing really well in Wisconsin. Pushed 2 spurts of growth this year and surprisingly had more strength on the daughter tree.
The Bonsai below me is ancient.
Ancient tree because this big mugo is probably more than 200 years, recent bonsai because it was collected in 2015…
After me I’d like a nice palmatum maple.
Below me is a bad nursery stock pick that you now love
I can participate with this
Juniper Pfitzer variety. Came in a clump in a 5 gallon nursery can with 2 others. I had a hard time figuring out what to do with it. I’m liking it now and will repot it late spring.
The Bonsai below me is a tree that has had a big planting angle change from its original form
What a beautiful tree
