Please Help: Identification of New Pines

Hello tree friends,

I was lucky enough to be given three young pine trees; they were left by sellers at a home to be demolished. I have every intention to make at least two of them bonsai…but I can’t figure out which species they are! They could be the same but styled differently or with different growth due to resources? Here is a pic with a full photo and a close up. I assume number 2 is a lodgepole, correct? If so, what are 1 and 3? Tree 1 on the left is the one Im most excited to work with first.

Thanks in advance! Kind wishes all!
Brian

How many needles in each fascicle? How long are the needles on each?

Number 2 and 3 both appear to be five needle pines, so white pine of some sort. Number 1 looks like it might be a three needle pine, but I can’t quite see for sure.

Hello! All three of them are five needle and about 4 to 5 inches.

Then they are all some variety of white pine.

Well that was quick and efficient. Im grateful—thanks for the help! Now I can be specific and focus on learning all about them. Have a great week ahead.

They all look like Pinus Strobus nana’s…as Rodger said! Eastern White Pine -nana (long needle single flush pine)
