A blast from the past. I found my notes from a visit that Ryan made to the Inland Empire Bonsai Society in Spokane, WA on 5 May 2012. The message is very similar to the one he has been sending in the streams which is nice to see. At the time, I was a bit concerned that his message was there is one way to do bonsai - the way he learned in Japan. That is definitely not the current message.
