Love this tree! beautiful movement through the trunk, and that background color also really works with the tree

Later this spring I want to repot this Shinpaku with the new front presented in this picture. It’s hard to see behind all the foliage but the trunk has fluid movement throughout and consistent taper but without being too thick at the trunk. If I don’t suck it up I’m hoping to tease out an elegant feminine design

Thanks! I hope to get more chances to shoot with this background. I’ve never seen this color regarding bonsai backdrops and I have no idea why, it’s quite strong.
