Thought it would be fun for us to share an image of the bonsai that you personally have had development the longest followed by a picture of it when you first started working upon it. I’ll start, this is a Carpinus betulus (European Hornbeam) I dug from a now closed bonsai nursery back in winter 2007.
Looking forward to seeing your trees!
I will join the fun. April 2017 to September 2019
Good development, that tree has a bright future!
Sweet little Hornbeam, nice taper, what species is it?
Nursery Stock Yaupon Holly
Here’s the first JBP I bought about 3 years ago. I knew nothing about them before I got this, so a steep learning curve but I think it is progressing pretty nicely. I have a few more of them now, but this one is my trailblazer.
When I first got it …
… and now …
@Ryceman3 that’s becoming a nice tree! I don’t work with pines, but that seems like some solid progress in a short time to me.
Amazing work on the JBP in such a short time. Well done!
