Hey, I attended this past weekend the winter study workshop at Nature’s Way Nursery with Walter Pall, Jim Doyle, Jennifer Price and Thomas Haering. Walter allowed me to style this old (and expensive) Rocky Mountain Juniper. If you like the result, the tree is for sale at Nature’s Way. For the price, you need to ask Walter Pall… up to you to guess if the price tag increased or decreased with the styling…

by the way, this is a dynamic design with the defining branch and the apex moving in different directions. Whereas the deadwood is not clean, there is a lot of it there interacting with the live vein and a strong base to anchor the design.
It is a great experience, if you have the opportunity, I highly recommend it.
