Repotting Cascading Juniper and Cypress

I would like to repot my Juniper and Cypress trees. They are still in plastic agricultural pots and are only a few years old. I have purchased a few different types of pots. One is tall and was recommended for a cascading Juniper. I know Ryan does not prefer these types of pots, but the person I bought it from recommended filling the bottom up with larger stones and a little more than half with bonsai soil. He thought if I did not plant it in this type of pot it would be difficult to keep this top heavy tree from staying off of the ground. I also have two other types of pots (one unglazed and the other glazed), which I was planning on using one of them for my Cypress. I could use one of these two for my Juniper as well. Attached are pictures of all three pots along with both trees. What are your thoughts on the right pot to use for each tree at this stage of development?

Can you show us the pots next to the trees. Be good to see how big they are.

I think with a young nursery stock tree its not a huge deal, assuming you like the aesthetic. Ryan doesn’t seem to like the form or function with the old cascade pots. The function s much different when dealing with the age of trees he does in relation to your picture. So if you like it go for it on this one.
