Lots to take in with this one and still listening to it. The part that stood out to me so far is the talk about Dwarf Alberta Spruce. Mainly because I have one still in its nursery pot and researching the species in terms of bonsai has turned up sparse information at best. My initial thought is to go more coastal insinuation with it given its growing habit and pics I’ve seen of older trees. However, it gives me the feeling of a more cold weather tree that could have branches weighed down by snow. Perhaps the conical shape would prevent snow load? So many questions. 
Definitely would love to see @ryan and @Sam cover this little gem in a stream.
