Trees back on the beach until I make a trip to get the poly panels . Will be nice to eventually not be moving newly potted trees in and out protection from this constant drizzling of a spring we are having…maybe next spring
that’s a mighty fine bench. i just stumbled on this post. where is this fabled timber frame green house . i need to build myself one oh and a heat bed (well at least i set my post to hold a sun sail lol. )
Lol greenhouse will be a giant cold frame but I’ve been at a standstill since winter kicked in after I dug the foundation. I put the build process of my heatbeds in a thread on here somewhere. I will say they are still standing strong and I just unplugged them yesterday to start transitioning things off…only to find out I lost a bristlecone grown in a pot for 30 years (it was 5/6 dead when I got it and thinking back the heat bed might have been a terrible idea possibly exhausting what little energy it had stored …but if I didn’t put it on and I died I would have been telling a different sad ending). Hopefully I will have something framed up to share before next winter it was an extremely rocky foundation dog…love the northeast
Why do you build so many fake rocks again?
because I know how heavy real ones are
We get ice cream if I can split this by hand…I have about 6 tons of stone that I have pulled fro my yard by hand and “reorganized” into a garden…none of them had a lovely planting space so I decided it was easier to make them…I am not saying I am correct just what my experiences led to

One of my clients saw the bonsai pots and said make me a path through the garden the way you would your bonsai pots. Path is about 45ft-4ft wide 18ft incline. Just finished a good run about 20ft long, obviously not colored or finished but figured I’d share to let you know carved Bonsai tables are definitely not off the table… happy spring to the northern hemisphere!
nice work going to make yourself a bonsai cliff to put your trees on?
Thanks, no its not for me. It is a path through a woodland garden
I’m think it would make good benchong
