managed to get some nice trees this trip. The actual collection was kind of a little let down though. Went to the tune of going up to the trees and telling them to pack up an get in the car. Developing these however will be a different challenge as esp. the conifers are very raw…
Nice. I collected some trees this weekend. The two loblollies were growing in sand and basically bare rooted themselves. I got a nice rootball on the juniper. Got two mystery trees that both had two lateral main roots that went on forever. Got some decent feeders at the base though. I’m not too optimistic about those.
