Tree Identification Assistance

In Apex Q&A, I posted what I believe was a Surinam Cherry, however further investigation indicates it might be a Pomegranate. Anyone provide further details or ides?

From the bark, the relative shortness of the leaves, and the yellowing pattern, I’d say it’s a cherry.

Pom leaves tend to be longer, thinner, have a little curl or wave to them; those look shorter, thicker, waxier, and without the pom curl/wave.

could be a Guava not sure species

Both an Arborist and the Arbor Day Foundation has classified this as Surinam Cherry. I can finally move on…lol
