Ha ha ha… looks pretty two dimensional to me! The over riding rule is answering the question “what am I trying to accomplish” .
If you want a growing sculpture, the it has been achieved. If you want a natural representation of nature, then you have made a Dr Suess tree.
It may look natural in Whos ville!
Impressive that the tree looks pretty healthy.
I will continue to look to natural trees for a model and inspiration.

I can’t tell if that wire is there to keep the top from flying away or if the top is somehow holding up the base.

The trunk stays the same width for so long, it does have the same qualities of a neon tube.
