This Chamaecyparis (hinoki) had been in my collection since 2009. It came as a raw nursery plant and in hindsight I did the right thing at the beginning of its (and my own) journey: a heavy repot when it is most vigurous. I believe it still benefits a healthy shin because of this initial action.

Although a little overgrown in this picture, im still in love.

The bonsai below is a tree that has more width than height.

I have two, one male and one female. This is the female one. Obviously.

The Bonsai below me is a species that is completely unfit for Bonsai.
