Those following Ryan’s adventures lately have seen how Ryan is no longer using muck/keto for rock plantings and using sphagnum moss instead (e.g. here).
In this video I use all the techniques that Ryan taught us, including root hooks but I found it extremely challenging to perform the technique that Ryan created non vertical and past-vertical surfaces. So I developed a new technique which I show in the video below of using sphagnum moss and substrate sushis that I then attach to the composition and that works even at extreme angles.
I thought I’d share the technique with the community.
