Hi Guys , I live in the south of Spain and have a problem with Red Spider . Can I spray ( Juniper) now with Lime Sulpher and if so what would the dilution rate be. Many thanks.
I am not sure how to treat your spider mite infestation, but I believe that lime sulfur should only be used on dormant or at least semi-dormant trees.
Consider treating with bifenthrin if it’s available in your area; I’ve used it on junipers without noticing any negative health effects. It’s often used as a spray around building foundations, window frames etc to keep ants and other crawlies out of buildings.
It’s in the pyrethriod group, so it is toxic to cats (and fish, I’m pretty sure but don’t quote me on that), not meaningfully toxic to dogs or most other mammals
You can find general recs for lime sulfur application on the web

As always look on the label but I know not all lime sulfur comes with detailed instructions.
I use bifenthrin for spider mites and have in the past used a product used by the cannabis industry that worked well on Cyclamen mites on an elm Bonsai I bought
