Here are our 3 cats. They like nothing more than hiding and chilling in amongst the bonsai.
This is the youngest, 9 months and hasn’t learnt that he shouldn’t sit on bonsai pots yet!
These 2 are brother and sister

This Porter, AKA as Shiva with a 1 gallon Rootmaker pot that he decided was his. He is a mixed breed and 11+ weeks old. In addition to increasing pot aeration, he has also shown skills in trimming larch in the ground, dragging hoses for watering, and removing seedlings from pots so they can be repotted. He is dog #7 in my life after we helped Ellie cross the rainbow bridge about a month ago.
More recent picture of Porter and I. Not sure who has the most facial hair. BTW the rootmaker pot lasted about 2 weeks. A standard nursery pot has lasted 6 weeks and counting.
Not really my pets, but the praying mantis keeps the insects in check and the Cardinals are a mainstay of my back yard.
Blown out by the hot sun here in Oz…(Photo taken on the second day of Spring, 2020)
My cat is unhappy she can’t be out sharpening her claws on this big ol Murraya.
Yuki who happened to lay down in front of a kusamono. Took me a minute to figure out how she grew green horns…
That is a stunning catoneaster!
very nice. Praying Mantis are wonderful insects and cardinals are beautiful birds! Love it!
If only you were ever in close proximity to a bonsai tree and supplies.
I was under the impression there was going to be a new beginners series starting Eve
I am looking forward to it! The beginner series is a big haul to film and edit, so we are working on ways we can make more of them without crushing our video team with workload.
My dogs:
Stella: “Why these bonsai trees have been on the ground whole summer?”
Cosmo: “Now it is looking better”
