Hello, Mirai. Wondering what this is on my pinion pine. We just had a bunch of rain in CO, so maybe it’s fungus? Scale? Grasshopper saliva? I don’t know. But the terminal buds are suddenly mostly gone. What do I do? Thanks!
Hard to tell for sure from the picture, but maybe Wooly adelgids aphids? If that’s it a systemic would be the quickest way to take them out I think.

No, that’s not normal. I have a pinion Pine and it has never had anything that before. The go-to systemics are either imidacloprid or acephate.
