Mirai Library AI search

Hey Mirai team,

I had a question about the possibility of somehow integrating some of the new AI capabilities into the Mirai Library. One of my main challenges in working with the library is finding that one piece of the one video that I saw that talked about a specific thing. I end up having to go through multiple videos kind of skipping around, trying to refresh my memory of where it was I remember watching the clip I’m looking for. The search function and filters for the library are certainly helpful, but they don’t always get me where I need to go. Often times I end up, skipping past the point I’m looking for or never find it.

I feel like there’s some possibility to use an AI type agent to scrape the text narration from each video and at least create the ability to answer questions quicker or help point me to the right video and what app approximate time to look for.

If I had to guess this is not a new idea for you guys or you’ve already looked into it or currently working on it?

Thanks,

Evan

I think Ryan mentioned a couple of Q&As ago that they are finalising things for a relaunch of the library to make it easier to search.

probably easier and faster to use an AI plugin app on your side. For what it is worth, Ryan has a ton of proprietary content that I wouldn’t want AI’s scraping and turning into social slop if I were in his shoes.

agree that I sometimes search for tidbits of information I recall. maybe a key word search? find other things though in the search that work for me.

If Mirai would run all the videos through voice recognition software and use the text as a searchable content source it can be used as an index and take you to the right spot on the correct video. Many of the most significant light bulb going off moments watching Ryan have been unrelated to the subject of the videos I am watching. BTW I have had books scanned computer translated to English and made into searchable PDFs for my own use.

A lot of the videos do have transcripts already accessible on the bar under the video
