How much Jin and Shari can be completed in one season? My plan is to create the cascade to the left and Jin the right side of the tree, and create a small apex

Looks like you have lots of foliage on the left, so the tree should be able to take it. If in doubt, slowly remove the foliage on the right. If you wait until spring when sap is flowing, the bark will slip off. If you are too heavy, you will find lots of juvenile foliage.
So better to create the Jin now or wait until spring?
