Japanese maple ID?

Anyone strong with identification of JM cultivars want to give this a shot?

Acer palmatum ‘Hoofman’ was my best guess with an AI imagine search ( which not as reliable to me as someone who knows JM cultivars)

Thanks for any help in advance

I found a group online called The Maple Society. Their classification might be helpful to you.
Maple Society Classification
I know next to nothing about Japanese maples, except that the lace leafs/dissectum and the crinkle leafs are not my favorites. The classic wild-type leaf form is what appeals to me. Color-wise, not variegated white and green.
That’s a lovely, healthy tree, though. Hope you find the info you’re looking for.

Thanks I will check it out.

It looks very similar to the Mikazuni JM I have.

I looked it up and color/variegation are spot on but I don’t think mine has nearly as deeply narrow leaf lobes as the pictures I found online and in the book I have…but always hard for me say with 100% certainty.

Thanks for taking the time to respond and introducing me to another cultivar!
