Cut and Wound treatment options

There are plenty of Cut and Wound treatment options for Bonsai (and gardening). Which product should you use for what condition or circumstance. Has anyone used any of the Chinese products and if yes, what did you think of them? I cannot read any of the Japanese or Chinese on the products however with some help it looks like there are some similar products. For example there are both Chinese and Japanese products that contain 3% thiophanate-methyl . I am hoping others have investigated the subject and are willing to share what they know so I do not have to start from scratch. Thanks

Take a look at this page at the Bonsai Tonight store - Cut Paste – Bonsai Tonight Store where Jonas provides some information about each of the ones he carries. I believe that Ryan uses Callus Mate a fair bot based upon the videos I have watched. I use it, both of the putties for larger wounds, and occasionally the Kirikuchi-Naoru Liquid on trees where wounds heal slowly. I also use Titebond III wood glue on large stubs when cutting back trees in the ground. I then use the putty when I cut back to the collar after the tree compartmentalizes the dead stub.

Thanks for the input. I am hoping also to learn what active healing ingrediencies are in the products. This is the second winter for my field trees I have used a mixture of lanolin with 1% NAA to reduce the number of shoots from a cut (seems to be working well for JA Maples) and 1% IBA for wound healing.
