I collected this Virginia Pine today (I’m in the Atlanta, GA area) from a construction site. The tree was toppled over by a large rotting log. I was able to collect a pretty solid fibrous root mass, as the tree was growing in an old stump. Kept almost all the root mass I found, and the old decaying pine wood and bark was actually making an easy collection. Potted upright, in straight perlite sifted to 1/8” and 1/4”. I’m curious if anyone else has experience with this species and what your thoughts are.
