Why the lack of information about Yamadori collection?

Hi All, why is it so hard to find good information from the professionals about yamadori collection. I have heard Ryan mention the collection of trees several times but he never (as far as I have heard) gone into the details of his collection of the trees. Am I missing the episode? Or do the professionals not like to talk about the collection of their trees.

There’s an interview with Randy Knight in the library where he talks extensively about his aftercare with yamadori.

Appalachian Bonsai has some videos where he goes collecting and discusses the process.

Does anybody had experience with collecting pines during summer dormancy ? I’m from Europe so if anybody have some advice?
