I bought two white pines earlier this October. They both need repotting. Can I repot the trees [Jan ] and rewire later in the year ?
Or allow the trees to become stronger with this years growth ?
The trees have NOT been maintained for at lest 2 years

If the trees are strong you may get away with it. You may want to wire before you repot, as you are less likely to damage to roots by rocking in the new pot. Safest thing would probably be to let them recover from the repot first.
