What should I do about this die back? It was an entire root that was nothing but rot! I did its first repot today and was shocked when the roots disappeared in my hands. I don’t have any cut paste at hand but I do have grafting wax!
I imagine it will callus at the shoulder, I would just leave it instead of trying the wax but thats just a guess

It will compartmentalize and you will just loose the little nub.
