Did a first pass on these kishu whips. Always fun to play with cheap nursery stock just to see what comes of it.

Very nice. I like it a lot. It looks like the base is a bit wider in the initial picture. It would be great if you could regain some of that base width as the tree develops.

I find myself drawn to multiple trunk trees more and more every day, very nice!

Thanks Marty. It’s tough to see, but the base is actually wider from the new angle. Dead surface roots created a bit of an illusion in the before picture. That’s the primary reason I shifted it 30 degrees or so.
