Agree - I’ve watch this one every six months to keep my focus on design intent

The “Bonsai Anatomy” video from last week (1/13/21) is a must watch first for beginners. Really appreciated it. Wish it would have been available when I first got into this last year. Would have made it even easier to understand the rest of the library with a common language on terminology. Highly recommend it!

Great call. I actually had that up on my other tab when I saw this message. Here’s a link.

This may not seem like a beginner stream, but in order to break the mold you must first understand it. This is a good breakdown of “traditional” coniferous and deciduous designs.

Great to see Spring Fundamentals here. With only minor exaggeration, I can affirm that I’ve basically seen every video of substance available on YouTube. Several bonsai professionals rose quickly to the top of the pile: Ryan, Peter Warren, Bjorn, Mauro- because of their top level of skill, advanced techniques, and artistry. With the BSOP series alone, Bonsai Mirai takes the cake for sharing so much essential and foundational knowledge, to everyone. Excited to take my education to the next level while I wait for the spring thaw here in the Hudson Valley.

Hello!

I’m new here and I muss say that the combination of the library and the forum offers Bonsai knowledge like I’ve never seen before.

Thanks!
