Small young japanese black pine

Hey Bonsai Mirai. Hope everyone is well.

I’m located in Sydney Australia

I have a question regarding what to do with this pine. It is very young small JBP and i want to know what i should do in reguards to the apex. I plan on developing this for the next ten years but becaise it is so yougn should i allow all the branchlets on the apex to grow over autumn and winter or sould needle pluck and select a branch and a new leader???

I would think about wiring some more movement into the lower 2/3 of the trunk and l plant it in the ground if you have the space available. Fertilise it over autumn and then begin again next spring.

It needs all the growth you can get and removing any needles at this stage would slow that down.
