I bought a shohin satsuki azalea last fall in japan. It’s been doing very good so far. I did not repot, I let it flower and then pruned it as Mr Peter Warren showed (and writes in his book). After that iv been noticing dark patches on the leaves, some all dark and dried up. I cut some of that where dry but I don’t know what it is or what’s causing it. I’m very thankful for any help.
It started to show those signs after you pruned it? If so, after pruning did you keep it out of the sun for awhile? I could be sun burnt.
yes it started after pruning i believe. I think you might be right, its been in some intense sun right after pruning. Ill keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t keep darkening. Thank you
