Repot or don’t repot. That’s the question

So. I styled my blue atlas cedar nursery stock. Pretty heavy bend without hurting the bark and one whorl I needed to correct. Nothing spectacular. While styling I noticed that this probably hasn’t been in this pot for very long and has a pretty compact rootball.

So, that made me think: should I get it into a bigger pot with more drainage (better soil, more air) now? Or wait until spring?

Spring when buds start to swell. Cedrus has the reputation of being sensitive to repots, however in my experience when repotting per Ryan’s instructions they do fine.
