Photos from the NC arboretum bonsai

Hey all,
my other passion in life outside of bonsai is photography and over the past 3 years I have been fortunate enough to live near the NC Arboretum which has a very nice bonsai collection. I thought I would share some of my photos from my visits up there. Arthur Joura is the curator there and these are the trees he has worked on that were donated from deceased artists collections, some artists are still with us. None of my photos have been edited other than basic cropping. Enjoy:

Awesome photos! I recently was gifted a Nikon D3400 and I would love to be able to take proper pictures of my trees and children. What lenses would you recommend?

i would get the 1.8 35 mm prime and a sturdy tripod and hoya uv filters, the 40mm micro/macro is decent for the price but you really have to get close to get 1:1 macro shots
