Does anyone have any experience with Ryuga tools? They have a 3 in 1 shear, for branch and wire cutting that I have been eyeing…
I have two pairs of Ryuga scissors that work great, they have held up to lots of use over years, routine sharpening and cleaning and they should last you a long time.
Same here. They are of good quality.
Love my Ryuga stainless steel scissors and knob Cutter! Real good quality
Thanks for the responses/reviews.
I could be wrong but it is my suspicion that Ryuga (Robert Steven), Roshi (Stone Lantern), and Tiny Shoots/Roots?? (I may not have that name correct…)tool brands are all identical and from the same factory in China. I have several Ryuga and Roshi tools have been nothing but pleased with their performance over several years now.
I have bought a pair of shears from Ryuga. But the two part of the shear seems to be extremly lose. Is that normal?
Hi.
My Kaneshin shears are also quite loose. I emailed them about it when I received them and they said that they make them loose intentionally but unfortunately I cannot remember the reason
Hello,
Question is rather if the blades touch each other at the respective closing point (observe holding towards a light source). If they don’t you can adjust them. There are the screw type and the rivet type. You can tighten thw rivet by carefully hammering (rather several light taps than one too heavy blow).
And yes, the cjinese factories do OEM / white label.
Ryuga are great and cheaper. Chinese made tools to Japanese specs.
