Mothra on the loose!

I realize this might not be the audience for this…

I do my best to not use pestacides. This year has had a few times…The depth and breath of my spider population is still astounding…
This lady showed up on my 3 yo 13" three tree mini planting of Oregon sour cherrys (the right pot, the left is a mini linden forest; just having fun…)…

The last photo is eggs…
It appears she did NOT get her lower wings (the ones with the eyes) inflated before they dried. The bottom halves are still folded up.
.
Have NOT found pupae casing… No idea where she dropped from. Couldnt have flown…? I’m assuming the overhead Norway maple tree. After the eggs hatch, I will transfer them to a MUCH larger cherry tree…
.
Several years ago…My wife found a thumb sized pupae casing on her car windshield at work downtown. Thought it was dead for a week-- untill it started rolling around. Emerged while we watched, then proceded to fly around the house. After photos, we gently released it outside!
Hmmmm. Nature…
Bonsai On!
