June 11 - air-layered a 7’ tall larch that was in my garden in 2 locations along the trunk. It now has roots, when is the best time for me to remove the air-layers? Spring as the buds just start to push? Or ?IMG_1693|375x500

As long as they both have sufficient roots it should be ok to separate them now and pot them up. Make they are tied in well to the pot to facilitate more root growth and not damage the soft fleshy ones they currently have.
