Juniper fungus identification, treatment and prevention

Hi everyone,

Can anyone identify this fungus on my juniper?

It grows on the deadwood. I had a spot earlier this spring, cut it off and treated with mancozeb. I found this one yesterday.

I cut it off again and treated again. Is there a way to treat the wood to keep it from retaining so much water?

Treatment with wood hardener or superglue would seal off the deadwood.
