Iron springs hemlock care?

Is anyone keeping iron springs hemlock? I have one I potted up in bonsai media but it looks yellowish compared to when I purchased it. I have been fertilizing but I’m wondering if it needs more. any thoughts?

It could mean your soil has the wrong pH range… tsuga heterophilla (western hemlock) prefer acidic soil with pH between 4.5 and 6.5. Try feeding with miracid or equivalent, it should return to green. If the pH is too alkaline, the nutrients won’t be assimilated by the tree which would lead to chlorosis.

Well, then maybe I should mix in some Kanuma with the next re-pot. Or the next hemlock
