Hey y’all!
I recently picked up a kishu (different plant than the itoigawa in my last post) that has a small amount of scale on a couple of the branches. Along with debriding them by hand, I also have some granular imidacloprid (the product is called Merit) that I’d like to apply instead of using a spray.
BUT all of the application rates are calculated based on square footage of turf. No rates for container plants that I’ve seen.
So, what rates are y’all using when you use granular imidacloprid? Do you just use turf-based rates? The container is a standard 2gal nursery pot if that’s a helpful reference.
