Hi Mirai. Can you all help me with a quick cheat-sheet for which species get lime-sulphur applied to deadwood and which ones don’t? Thank you.
Generally lime sulfur is applied as a temporary preservative/pesticide/whitener- it can be used on any dead wood where this is the goals. I don’t recall ever hearing that it’s species specific, we use it on juniper, pines bald cypress, hornbeam ect. If you don’t want the white it can be died to tone down the whitening effect.
