Color Wheel Tool for Pot Selection

Ryan had talked about thinking about opposite vs. analogous colors when choosing pots for bonsai. I found this online tool which has a dynamic color wheel which then suggests various harmonios vs. contrasting color combinations to the color of your choice. If you combine that with a color-sampling tool, you can go ahead and sample the color of the pot (or the tree) and play around with the tool for ideas for pot/tree color combinations. Enjoy!

do you know what chart he was using that he said he had up in his workshop somewhere?

@Drew I think he just pulled something he found from google images of a “color wheel” to be honest.

We will be filming a Color theory feature soon and it is scheduled to air on November 19th, so keep an eye out as we head into the repotting season in the Northern hemisphere!
