I just got this Cedar Yamadori. Looking for suggestions on styling on the future. Its about 6 feet tall. What would you do!?
This is going to be a big, tall bonsai! I see a tall, solitary tree with a dead top and dropping branches. It probably gets cut off at the point where it starts to bend and the next foot down is jinned with short stubs left. However, before that you need to get it established and the branches pulled down to show the snow load. The lower, thicker ones may be difficult to bend.
Thats where my head was going too. If it survives I will definitely the top of, and then jin the top section. Thanks for your feedback!
