Best way to reduce field rootage to minimize scarring?

Here’s my tree, field grown for 10 years: [https://imgur.com/a/wbH6eJT] https://imgur.com/a/wbH6eJT

What is the best way to properly reduce field rootage in trident maples to minimize scarring? Do I:
Saw and leave a stump?
Flush with root cutters and cleanup cut site?
Concave cutters and cleanup cut site?
Would you ever consider cutting back to small stump and grafting new whip onto that?
Go back in time and root prune before this happened?
Something else?

Soil line is lower than these two knobs.

Is there a video stream where Ryan addresses this topic?

Thanks!
