After hours of Mirai videos last month, i finally felt confident to prep the trees for my Southeastern Ohio winter ahead. I believe i covered all the basics. Landscape carpet for no direct entry point into my pots because grubs are a problem in my yard. I opted with mulch to insulate. also used the landscape carpet for wind protection as well, but im not sure how it will hold up. The trees are cleaned, open for air flow to the tunks, and for the most part, happy, Excluded a few trees that were in bad shape when i received them. We are ready for winter i believe.
