Today was National Bald Cypress day…no I’m kidding but it might as well have been FOR ME. Long story short, I drove through the Everglades on the way to Wigert’s, was planning on only getting wire, saw a tree and got super inspired especially from the drive and taking pictures of Bald Cypress along the way, bought it, styled it, annnd now…here we are.
This was definitely a complex tree for me to style. I was drawn to it because of the challenge of making the triple trunk work. and during my drive, I saw some cool examples of dead tops on BC and thought that this tree could work for that.
