I have seedlings that are a few years old that I put in grow boxes this year. I keep them on the south side of my house and I live in south Louisiana. they are a few pines and some other deciduous trees. Should I take any other precautions for winter? @BillsBayou you have some good experience in this area I bet.

Put everything on the ground and protect it from the wind. Get pine needle mulch and mulch as high as the first branch. That’ll do it.
