I pull mine inside for the night once we start dropping below ~10c (50ish F) and then we shuffle until the risk of random frost becomes too much for my poor nerves. My favorites have been in since late September, but I got greedy for growing season and lost some of the wee ones by not being careful enough with the margin of error on the weather report.
I feel you @KurtP, we bottomed out at around 3F for a while there, but we’re back at freezing now so it’s a nice and toasty fall.
I’ve had mine for less than a year. After a bit of sleuthing I finally figured out the species and proceeded with partial defoliation. Jacaranda appear to flower on new wood so I am hopeful for a spring show if I can keep it over what may be an exceptionally cold winter. It has safely wintered outdoors for the last 10 years. I’ll post pics in a bit.
