Teunis Jan Klein and Mondrian

I just heard Teunis Jan Klein reference Piet Mondian’s ‘Flowering Apple Tree’ on the asymmetry podcast and having heard of Mondrian, but not knowing the painting, I looked it up. Just as interesting, and perhaps essential in understanding the abstraction of the natural form he progressed towards, are the paintings of the same subject that preceded it.
I thought fellow forum users might find these moving and inspiring.
